I was going to just get a Subway oven roasted sandwich tomorrow, but this seemed like it would be way more fun and way more delicious.
In the spirit of ongoing Mardi Gras celebrations, this dirty rice with shrimp recipe looks AMAZING and needs to be made immediately.
Can’t wait to make it tomorrow! Oh and I’m really excited, that this recipe subs ground beef in for liver.

Creamy Banana Kale Smoothie
Serves 2
1 1/2 cups curly green kale (preferably organic), loosely packed, stems removed
1 1/2 banana, frozen
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup iceBetter-for-you ingredients
Kale is full of nutrients with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits that help your body stay vibrant and youthful. Kale is also packed with chlorophyll. Chlorophyll removes heavy metals and chemical toxins from your body.Directions
Combine the ingredients into a powerful blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Thin with water if desired. Enjoy!

Roasted chicken salad with cranberry and sunflower seeds with wheat bread and spring mix
Left over roasted chicken makes great left over chicken salad! Simply pull meat off the bones and mix in a little mayonnaise, spicy mustard, cranberry, salt, pepper, diced celery, minced shallots, and sunflower seeds and mix! Great on a sandwich or even ontop of a salad! Eating good with simplicity!
